 NPI's vast experience
designing and supporting high-availability secure networks is used as a NPI's NetSentry monitoring components use logging and alerting mechanisms already available in our client's assets. Key messages and events are forwarded to NetLogger where a rules-based engine notifies support personnel of significant or suspicious events via workstations, cell phone, 2-way pagers, PDAs or other devices assigned to them. In addition, special monitors are included in NetLogger that focus on DNS (Domain Name Services) and Web servers generating alerts when unwanted changes or failures occur within these key infrastructure components. NPI can write (and has written many) special network/system monitoring software tools that focus on unusual customer needs to enhance the level of awareness beyond that available from generally available monitoring systems. |
